[Science Activities--BFSU]

These investigations were inspired by Building Foundations of Scientific Understanding. I have found Dr. Nebel's books, a great public library system, and the internet to be invaluable resources for developing a living science curriculum. Topics progress logically and build upon each other, with four threads being conducted in tandem:
  • Nature of Matter (A)
  • Life Science (B)
  • Physical Science (C)
  • Earth and Space Science (D).

As we complete lessons, I will try to link posts about them on this page.

  1. Seriously! I love this. I think putting together logical science plans is a snap with a good book for guidance, a well-stocked library, and the "interwebs." This looks like an awesome year for you guys!

  2. Oh my gosh--I remember when some woman I met through a homeschool co-op introduced me to this book & I posted about it on my original FB page! Ha! Forgot about it!

That's cool you guys are enjoying the book and found a Yahoo group, etc.--I'll stop by often to see how things are going. :)
