After visiting the Huntsville Botanical Garden last September, we knew we'd have to return.
This year's scarecrow theme was storybook characters. We saw lots of our favorites Friday and one who has inspired us to read Frankenstein Makes a Sandwich, which we've already reserved at the library.
Charlotte's Web, made with painted gourds, was one of our favorite entries.
This year the garden has a new gnome home!
Of course, revisiting the old treehouses was lots of fun as well.
We're looking forward to going again, so September road trips to
Huntsville Botanical Garden have definitely become an annual tradition.
Where do you like to visit as the summer heat begins to subside?

Oh my word! I want to go so bad! The Charlotte's Web set was too cute.
ReplyDeleteWe like to hit our favorite spots like we did today. Black Bayou in the fall is the best. :)
That was the cutest gnome area that I have ever seen! Thanks for sharing.
