Today was sunny, but it was cool--in the low 50's. With a light jacket and a hat, it felt perfect! After we finished the activities I'd planned and had a picnic, Gerrick decided to read more Nate the Great and draw a a peacock (that he had seen on Saturday) in his nature journal. He then asked me to finish reading aloud an American Girl book we had started the night before and to start (and finish!) a second one. Aside from a few potty breaks and runs inside to get more books and a different hat when he warmed up a bit, we spent the whole day on our patio, and it was wonderful.
