Outdoor Playspaces

I've been thinking a lot about our backyard and how to make it more inviting for Gerrick and his friends. Jenny at Let the Children Play has been fueling my thoughts with her latest post full of interesting links. I'm thinking we can start with a gravel pit and move from there. I'd love to have a dozen or so pieces of tree trunk for him to move around as he pleases...

I've decided to host a new link collection beginning in January--Nature Connections.  

At the end of each month we would each post/link our favorite photo(s) taken during that month of our children interacting with nature.  The purpose would be to encourage all of us to get outdoors more.
