The third work is of "foggy mountains", but he didn't want me to take a picture of it yet. He's planning to work on it more tomorrow.

New Art Spot
Yesterday, Jo-Ann's offered a 20% discount for Teacher Appreciation Day. Among other things, I bought a table easel and a Mix Media Pad that I've been wanting for the rarely-used end of our kitchen table. I'm planning to keep it out along with some of our messier supplies that previously had been stored in a kitchen cabinet. It is my hopes that this sunny little art spot will entice him to use those pastels and paints more often. So far, so good. He made three drawings with oil pastels today:

A pine tree next to a lake at sunset

Two poppies growing on a beach
"That's not usually something you would see," he said.
