Eventually I had to drag him out of this booth because so many people were crowding behind us for a turn, but not before I bought this for myself...
He's decided that he'd like to learn how to make jewelry. Sounds like fun to me. Any of you have any tips, helpful websites, or general words of wisdom? I think we need a tutorial from Marcy on how to make these cool rings.
I'm foreseeing lots of jewelry, so we'll be needing to make something like this to hang it all on too. ;)
I love these frames and have been motivated to work on my own frame project which I will hopefully be showing you soon.
Where is this place at?? I want to go! And, I want to learn to make more jewelry too, besides the rings I just made. So I would love to get together and make jewelry with you!
You crack me up! :D But now that you mention it, they are pretty creepy...and you know, I'm sure I'll think of you every year for the rest of my life when I put this thing on my tree. :)
I saw the link on your post, but I won't be able to make it this weekend. Bummer.
As for bead, wire, etc. all the craft stores carry that stuff now. Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc. That is where I got the beads and wire from that I use for the rings. So we can start there and just have fun with it. I know Courtney makes jewelry, maybe she can give us some starter tips!
What a fun place! I wanna go (insert whine here)!!! That bracelet is awesome!!! Jewelry making always intimidated me. I can't wait to see what you two design.

I had to skip over the sock monkey quickly.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty much creeped out by them. Isn't that weird?
I wasn't going to go to Christmas in the South, but now I HAVE to.

I love your pictures, as usual.
Maybe your relatives could clean out their costume jewelry and give it to G for Christmas?
You crack me up! :D
