Storm in the Night Lapbook & Resources

We made a lapbook based on the book Storm in the Night which touched on quite a few topics: fear, weather, clouds, the water cycle, the 5 senses, sources of light, onomatopoeia, and more.

For the cover Gerrick used oil pastels on blue paper to make a dark cloud in the night with rain and lightning.

onomatopoeia
Bible verse pocket
senses word book
Which Senses Do You Use? (Weather)
Thunder & Lightning
Clouds

All of these are tucked in a back pocket:

  2. Thanks, Lisa!

Nothing original on my part, but I know I have more time available for research than some others since I only have one child--so I'm happy to share. :)
