Hope everyone has had a great 4th. We watched a show from the comfort of our porch rockers! The neighbors across the empty lots shot nice fireworks like this one for a solid 30 minutes. :)
Happy Independence day to you, too, Sherry! My boys and I sat out in our front yard to watch firework displays along Lake Michigan tonight. There were quite a few, too.
Please stop by my blog, and read The Meaning of Freedom when you get a chance. It's sure to touch your heart.
how wonderful! we made it across town to see the big show... sat near the sonic. i was glad that my honey didn't miss the fireworks despite being sick. poor guy.
I'm Sherry Gann, and this is where I share glimpses of my (currently 9yo) son's adventures. Our family of three enjoys a relaxed learning lifestyle, and though we're committed to no specific method, we are inspired by Charlotte Mason and project-based homeschooling. Our goal is simple: to grow as lifelong learners while living peaceful, joyful, healthy lives.
I think we'll be asleep again when they go off. :)
ReplyDeleteWoke us up last night.
We get another chance for our state holiday on the 24th, so it's all good.
Happy 4th!
