Thank you for this post. I am doing a geography project with my kids and we are starting with MA (our home) and we will spend some time on Make Way for Ducklings. This will be a big help.
ReplyDeletenice! we really enjoy working on lapbooks here too..more will come as we get back to hs in the fall.
ReplyDeleteI've not had any experience with lapbooks, but as a certified teacher, I think they would be useful as study guides in an upper-level elementary classroom!
ReplyDeleteThese activities look like so much fun. Your pictures are so lovely, you have such a great eye.
ReplyDeleteGood job, G! You have some great inputs...I love the map of the commons to the river. We will be back when we get to that book!
ReplyDeleteI love the organization that shows in your lapbook. Your son obviously loves the work that he is doing to learn about ducks, Boston and how to read. Thank you so much for sharing his lapbook.
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't mind that I have added a link to my Make Way for Ducklings Unit Study page.
